A pump that moves water for a garden hose has different requirements than one pressurizing an RV’s plumbing. The good news is the selection process is straightforward once you know which numbers matter and why.
Start With the Job: What Will the Pump Do?
Every pump is built for a purpose, and the spec sheet reflects that. The broad categories you’ll see are on-demand pressure pumps, diaphragm pumps, fresh water pumps, and submersible pumps. Each one excels at a different task.
